In 1974, Ultrasun founder Willem
Fabels started out as one of the
tanning industry pioneers. At
the time he thought that
“tanning” was a fad that would
pass in a few years. Nothing,
however, could have been further
from the truth and since then
the Dutch manufacturer has
employed 135 people in three
different locations.
The main location and factory
base of 10,000m 2 is at Hengelo
the Netherlands. At Emsdetten (Germany) the factory
will be extended from 3,000m 2
to 7,000m 2, and finally there
is a 5,000m 2 plant at
Indianapolis (USA).
The company delivers
professional tanning equipment
and UV bulbs under the brands
Ultrasun, Gardasun and Sunfit to
more than forty countries. A
vast network of professional
importers caters for the markets
of America and Europe to Russia
and China
